About the House

Brummitt-Feasby ALS House, a Home for ALS patients and their families completed renovations in October of 2001. This house is the first of its kind in North America for persons living with ALS.

The house, a gift to ALS Society of Manitoba by Lynn Brown and Faith Johnston (whose stepmother Dorothy Brummitt died of ALS), has been renovated to specifically meet the needs of people with ALS.  The renovations of this house, valued at $135,000.00 were done through donations of funds, materials and labour by generous Manitobans and Manitoba businesses..
